Camryn got his own 4 wheeler

Dusty dug the battery powered 4 wheeler out of the storage building for Camryn the other day. Every time we went into the building Camryn has begged to get it out so he was so excited when Dusty came around the corner with it. He thought he was so big riding around in his own 4 wheeler!

We FINALLY moved Camryn out of his crib and into a twin bed. I was so nervous but he has done great! I still have to get a few things to go on the walls but overall it is turning out really cute. We even bought the bed at a resale shop and I painted it black. It turned out super cute!

I just took a snapshot of him at the house before we left for school. I figured it would embarrass him if I took the camara in his class and tried to take pictures of him at his desk! He was a little nervous but after school when I asked him how the first day was he said "awesome"! I am so glad! He was ready to get back in the classroom today!

Vacation in Destin

Ok, so this is just a few of the pictures I took but it was hard to just choose a few! So, we headed out to Florida last week for our first "family vacation". The plan was to drive 7-8 hours then stop and spend the night somewhere and then drive the rest of the way the next day and that is just what we did. It worked out perfect that way. The kids wers great both days. Thank goodness for the dvd player in the truck!!

So here is a some pictures and a little about our adventure....

We stopped in Mobile, AL on the way down to tour the USS Alabama! I had been there and toured it 19 years ago but it was so cool to go through it again and show all the boys what a ship is like. My Dad was in the Navy for 25 years and used to be stationed on ships like this so it is neat for me to imagine what it was like for him to be on one!

Every time I got the camara out Camryn would come running up and say "take a picture of my teeth mom" and then he would want to look at it. Silly boy!

Almost everyday Camryn would go up to random people on the beach and strike up a conversation. This lady told us that he said he was going to go home with her! Not a shy bone in his body!

So of course we had to take some pictures out on the beach in our dress up clothes! I am so proud of how cute they turned out considering Camryn wouldn't stop rolling in the sand!

The guys dug a tunnel in the sand and then had the kids crawl through from one side the other. They thought it was so much fun till it collapsed on one of the kids legs. No one got hurt though!

Our nephews Collier and Collin turned 9 this month so they had a little birthday party for them this past Friday night with lots of friends and family! They got lots of money and clothes!

For Mothers Day we went to church and then we all came back to our house and Dusty and Shane made lunch for everyone. It was yummy! Brandy and I took all the kids to Bedford and had pictures taken of the grandkids for our moms for Mothers Day. They turned out sooooo cute and they just loved them! I will put them in the next post!

I have to say that it was the best Mother's Day yet for me! Being with family, having such a good meal and sweet cards and flowers from all my boys! I am truely blessed!

Pioneer Days

Last week Cadyn's class had a pioneer day. They got to dress up and do some activities like they would have in "pioneer days". Cadyn wore cowboy boots and his dad's cowboy hat that Dusty used to wear years ago when he was in school...ya know back when he was a cowboy! (Never would know that about him now!) The girls came in with braided hair and aprons! They all looked so cute. I think they even made butter that day. It was a lot of fun! I thought Cadyn looked so cute in his cowboy hat!

I don't usually take Camryn in to the school with me but I had to get some pictures that day. Just look at him being so sweet and calm sitting at Cadyn's desk. He wanted to stay at school with his bubba all day!

Wook Mom

Camryn came around the corner one morning recently yelling "wook mom, wook". (He doesn't pronounce his L's real good yet) He had found Cadyn's shin guards for soccer and strapped them around his legs. He thought he was big stuff and I thought it was just too cute!

The Naturals

Last night we went to our first Naturals game. We had a blast! They have an area for the kids to play at and you can either sit in the grass or get a seat. We walked around and checked out the whole ballpark when we got there. Our friend Angela sang the national anthem before the game started. It was beautiful and brought tears to my eyes! Cadyn actually ended up crying when it was time to go home because he was not ready to leave! He was wanting to catch one of the foul balls. We definately will be going back soon!
